WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT TEDDY:
Teddy is a Freedom Flyer from South Korea who arrived at LAX from South Korea in December 2021 - a beautiful male Cocker Spaniel, estimated to be about 6-7 years old, and about 24 pounds.
Teddy is super sweet, loving, playful, and happy-go-lucky. He loves playing fetch and butt scratches.
He is very friendly - good with people, including kids, and other calm, friendly dogs.
After a recent grooming, he was described as a “10 out of 10” grooming client! Way to go Teddy!
Teddy is a moderately active dog, needing only a couple of walks a day and spending the rest of the day sleeping or resting.
He walks well on a leash and has no problems going into and sleeping in a crate. Teddy is smart and likely can be easily trained, as he is very food motivated. He already knows sit and touch. His foster family is trying to train him to use the bell to go outside, and he learned very quickly how to touch the bell on command.
Teddy can sometimes drink excessively and then have to potty. He would do best if he can get taken out to potty every 4 hours or so. He can have excited and anxious urination. He probably should wear a belly band if left alone for more than a few hours at a time.
Teddy is being fostered in the Los Angeles area.
