Austin
Adopted AUGUST 2019!
Austin’s Story:
Look at this precious little fluffy face! Rescued in January 2019, Austin was one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea. He had a wonky leg and x-rays didn’t reveal why. We raised the donations for him to see a neurologist and from an MRI they were able to diagnose that he had trauma from an old injury. There was nothing surgical to be done, so Austin went to physical therapy for several months. Around 5 years of age, this handi-capable cocker spaniel loves to run and play and get belly rubs like the best of them! He’s nutty for tennis balls, LOVES people and is a huge snuggler.
His new mom says Austin is the best buddy (temper and all) and he still loves his tennis balls! He has settled into life with her quite well and enjoys the beach and playing with his dog cousins. The entire family absolutely loves his quirkiness. One of the most fun things has been expanding his world with the use of a K9 sport sack! With his leg, distance is always going to be an issue for Austin, so she started using the sport sack as a way for him to go on adventures. Now they routinely do 5-10 miles a day together, the majority of it with him on her back. Austin’s mom loves having her buddy with her and she can tell that he genuinely loves it, as well. As soon as the backpack comes off its hook he knows it's adventure time and runs to the door. In addition to these amazing outdoor adventures, his mom makes sure that he receives top notch care and plenty of snuggles!
From Austin’s adopter: “He is the most loved little dog.”
