What we know about Bixby!

• About 1-2 year old

• Male chihuahua mix

• About 9 pounds and very handsome, with expressive ears

• Very sweet and loves to meet new people and dogs

• Loves to wrap himself up in a blanket when snoozing (adorable puppy burrito!)

• Very cuddly and enjoys sitting in your lap for hours

• Energetic and athletic – will be a great partner for walks, hikes, or runs

• Bixby was hit by a car and had 10 fractures all over his body from the crash. He had surgery, and he is now well on his road to recovery

• He had many weeks of physical therapy and today Bixby is a new dog - active, playful and loves to cuddle!  Here's how his foster mom describes him today: 

  Bixby is very friendly, sweet, happy, likes to sprint around the yard, loves to sit and cuddle, loves people, loves affection, loves other dogs and gets along with them well. Bixby would love a house with a small yard that would give him the freedom to run in an enclosed space. He has a happy tail! :)
