Bradley

Adopted APRIL 2024!

Bradley’s Story:

This sweet and gorgeous 7-year-old cocker joined the rescue on April 12, 2024, after being relinquished to the West Valley Los Angeles City animal shelter. Bradley’s former owner moved to an assisted living facility and the family was unable to care for him. Thankfully, the shelter called Camp Cocker and he was able to be picked up by CCR the same day!

Although handsome Bradley was clearly loved and was in good body condition overall, he was covered in fleas and needed some TLC. Camp Cocker placed him with a wonderful foster family quickly so that he could decompress and prepare for his neuter and upcoming dental care. Little did Bradley know, as Camp Cocker was getting him ready for adoption, his future family was already head-over-heels for him and planning the trip to officially adopt him!

The day after he joined Camp Cocker, Bradley’s adopters saw him in a Facebook post and knew immediately that he was meant to join their family. They filled out the application the same day.. before he was even up for adoption! The couple is from Oregon and happened to be planning a flight to San Diego when they got the news they had been approved. They canceled their flights and decided to drive down so they could bring him home. Of course, they fell totally in love with him upon meeting in person. Bradley’s new name is Cooper and his adopters have shared that he is such a wonderful, happy, and playful guy who has brought so much joy and laughter to their home. He enjoys cuddles, camping, road trips, and squeaky toys the most!

From Cooper’s Adopters: “Thank you for choosing us to love this boy forever! He is the best thing to happen to us in 2024 and we can’t wait for all the years we get to spend with him. Thank you for saving him from the shelter and for trusting us with his care and happiness.”
