Budley
Adopted DECEMBER 2022!
Budley’s Story:
Previously known as Cameron, we’d originally rescued this sweet guy from South Korea in April 2019 after his owner had left him tied to a short rope and abandoned him there. One of our rescue partners, known as Korean K9 Rescue, saved Cameron and we flew him to America as part of our international Freedom Flight program. We were eager to help him start a new life! Cameron was adopted by a very loving man who provided him with wonderful care and companionship. He had named him Budley. Sadly, Budley’s adopter passed away at the end of 2022, leaving Budley without a family. Camp Cocker Rescue was more than happy to take Budley back and find him a loving new home. He’s such a sweet dog and we were so saddened by his loss.
Now known as Dudley, his parents tell us that he is settling in well and is such a wonderful addition to their family. They had also adopted another Camp Cocker dog in 2020 (whom they named Mia) who welcomed her new brother warmly and seems to enjoy having him around. Dudley is trying to teach Mia how to play and, though she hasn’t caught on yet, the two get along well and walk in unison on their daily walks. Dudley really loves his walks and has started running (zoomies) excitedly in the yard when everyone’s outside!
Dudley’s tail is always wagging. He’s still a young dog (now estimated to be about five years of age) and we are beyond happy to see this sweet freckle faced boy enjoying life again. His family says he’s a little ball of fire and he loves running from one end of the house to the other. His parents especially love how he howls every time he hears the Liberty Mutual commercial on TV!
From Dudley’s adopters: “We love him very much! Thank you for rescuing him, again! We hope he will be part of our family for many years to come.”
