WELCOME TO CAMP COCKER RESCUE, CELESTE!
CELESTE (nicknamed CeCe) is a beautiful young female Cocker Spaniel who was abandoned, with her older companion Mara (perhaps her sister? or her mother?) in a Petco parking lot, and ended up in the Long Beach Shelter before being rescued on 5/15/24.
What we know so far is that Celeste is a beautiful black Cocker Spaniel who is estimated to be about 2-3 years old, and was quite thin at 15 lbs. (As of 6/26 she weighs 17.4 lbs!)
Celeste is very sweet and very shy. She exhibits anxiety when she’s around most people, including her foster mom at times! She is most comfortable when in the company of a friendly, confident dog - thus it’s important that we find her a home with another confident dog to help show her the way. She’d love a dog that would also be a playmate and a cuddle-buddy!
*Please note that any age provided is only an estimate, based on veterinary examination.
