WELCOME TO CAMP COCKER RESCUE, CELESTE!

• CELESTE (nicknamed CeCe) is a beautiful young female Cocker Spaniel who was abandoned, with her older companion Mara (perhaps her sister? or her mother?) in a Petco parking lot, and ended up in the Long Beach Shelter before being rescued on 5/15/24.

• What we know so far is that Celeste is a beautiful black Cocker Spaniel who is estimated to be about 2-3 years old, and was quite thin at 15 lbs. (As of 6/26 she weighs 17.4 lbs!)

• Celeste is very sweet and very shy. She exhibits anxiety when she’s around most people, including her foster mom at times! She is most comfortable when in the company of a friendly, confident dog - thus it’s important that we find her a home with another confident dog to help show her the way. She’d love a dog that would also be a playmate and a cuddle-buddy!
