Celine
Adopted NOVEMBER 2020!
Celine’s Story:
Rescued from the Palmdale Animal Shelter in February 2020, this gorgeous cocker spaniel had been returned there by her previous adopter. Between 6-9 years old, Celine is extremely affectionate and silly and will look at you with the most loving eyes ever. She loves belly rubs, playing fetch with tennis balls, and has the best wagging tail in the world. Although she can be a loud barker when she gets excited, she gets along great with other dogs and is basically the perfect little companion.
Unfortunately, Celine has had bad, chronic ear infections for her whole life. She will require regular cleanings and ear care forever, as well as ongoing care from a dermatologist. Because of this, it took some time to find just the right home for Celine.
Now named Kali, her new parents report that she is an absolute dream! She quickly made herself right at home, acting like she's lived there her entire life, and earned herself the nickname "The Queen of the Ottoman Empire." Kali frequently runs up the stairs to say Hi while her mom is working and likes to lay at her feet. She loves looking out of the picture windows at what’s happening outside, enjoys long walks with her family each day, and sleeps well through the night (she SNORES, but its totally adorable!)
Kali has a sweet doggy sister, named Sharpie, who is a handicapped Shar Pei mix and is also a rescue! The two dogs became fast friends. Kali really enjoys exploring her new backyard and, of course, lots of cuddles with her adopters.
From Kali’s adopters: ”We feel truly Blessed to bring such a special little girl into our home… we see lots of smiles & happy years ahead...”
