Charlotte
Adopted AUGUST 2021!
Charlotte’s Story:
Sweet senior Charlotte joined Camp Cocker at the lovely age of twelve. We had rescued this beautiful, blind, and mostly deaf Cocker Spaniel from the SEAACA Shelter in Downey, CA in May 2021. She had severe dry eye and some eye discharge, but was able to make it through her dental with no extractions needed. She is very sweet and likes to be close to people, snuggling and getting belly rubs.
Charlotte is such a sweet dog and we’re thrilled to hear that everything is going really well in her new home. Despite being blind, Charlotte is an incredibly easy dog to care for. Her parents thought that it would be more challenging, but Charlotte is pretty much perfect. She is even perfectly behaved at the groomer’s.
This active senior loves her routine walks everyday and will actually run at times. No hitch in her glitch at all! The whole neighborhood knows Charlotte and everybody loves her. She has a “happy dance” and loves her tummy rubs. She knows every square inch inside the house, as well as the front and back yards. She knows exactly where her parents are and is always right there with them. Her mom says she’s very intuitive and loving.
