Cream
Adopted APRIL 2022!
Cream’s Story:
Cutie pie Cream was about 4-5 years of age when she joined Camp Cocker in March 2022. She was flown to Los Angeles, CA with another cocker spaniel, named Ogi, as part of our Freedom Flight program. This sweet little lady had lots of cocker energy! Cream had been treated for heartworm while in South Korea, but because the lifecycle of a heartworm from egg to adulthood can take six months before it even shows up on a heartworm test, had to be retested in June to make sure they were completely gone (she tested negative, yay!). Weighing a petite 18 pounds, she’s very friendly with people and with other dogs.
Now known as Kori, she was very good on the plane ride to her new home in Northern California. Her adopters say it's amazing how quickly she is assimilating into their household. She just fits right in! Kori even hopped up on the couch the first night in her new house. Apparently, she knows what a couch is, and isn't afraid to use it!
Kori and her new doggy brother, DJ, get along very well. The two are just separated at mealtime, as Kori is a real foodie. She is always looking for food and is happy to perform for food. Kori’s mom even bought her a dog puzzle and this smart girl figured it out quickly. She also loves to go on walks, play with toys, and simply hang on the couch with her family. She’s signed up for training lessons and they hope to get her better leash-trained. Kori’s mom says she's a little dolly... their little princess.
From Kori’s adopters: ”We are so fortunate to have Kori as the princess-in-residence.”
