Davey
Adopted DECEMBER 2020!
Davey’s Story:
Dashing Davey joined Camp Cocker in December 2020 as part of our Freedom Flight Rescue program. At about 8 months of age, he and five other beagles traveled to Los Angeles, CA from South Korea. Thanks to our rescue partners at Korean K9 Rescue (formerly Band for Animal) Davey, Archie, Sooni, Gold, Silver and Gabby were all rescued from a dog meat farm there.
Just like the atrocious manner in which other animals are raised for meat in factory farms, dogs raised for meat endure unfathomable misery. A fate which these beautiful beagles have been spared! Admirably, Davey’s adopters felt very strongly about adopting from a rescue or shelter and were determined to save the life of an amazing dog in need of a happy home.
Davey is such a nice dog! With that super sweet face and short little legs, he was the first of his companions to get adopted. Davey made himself right at home with his new parents, too, who were beyond excited to welcome their new furry family member into their lives! He took a long road trip home with them and was the perfect little passenger. We know he is going to have so much fun adventuring with them.
From Davey’s adopters: “We are so excited for Davey to be part of the family!”
We rely on your donations! Please consider donating just $5 to help us rescue more dogs in need.
