Dexter

Adopted MARCH 2019!

Dexter’s Story:

Rescued in February 2019, this handsome dachshund was about three years old when he flew to America from South Korea via our Freedom Flight program. Dexter is full of life and personality! His new family is obsessed with him and share that he is always by their sides. Dexter sleeps in between his mom and dad every night; he likes to lay next to them and rest his head on their shoulders. He LOVES their young daughter and runs into her room every morning to greet her and watch tv together.

This silly boy is full of energy and really loves toys. He runs to his basket and grabs toys all the time, then will run to it again and pull out another one. He’s become very vocal, too! His family says he’s feisty but such a love bug. Dexter does have some anxiety, so his family got him a fluffy blanket that helps to soothe him. Chewing on it calms him down and he’ll sometimes fall asleep with his blankie in his mouth. Dexter’s dog sister, Lady, still doesn’t seem to care about Dexter too much, but they do enjoy walks together. The two will lay on the couch together and sometimes the family will catch them under the covers in the morning together.
