Dot
Adopted SEPTEMBER 2020!
Dot’s Story:
This terrific Terrier mix was one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea in August 2020. At 9 months of age, she flew to Los Angeles, CA with another rescued dog, named Skittles. The timid Dot was very nervous and considered a high flight risk, so we wanted to find her a nice, quiet home where she could feel safe and secure.
Now known as Peaches (or Peachy Keen), she was adopted by a wonderful family who adores her just as she is! She is settling in wonderfully and likes to lay on the cool stone of their fireplace hearth, go on family walks, and they’ve also discovered that she is really smart as well as athletic! Though she is still a bit skittish with strangers and loud noises, Peaches is super friendly with other dogs in the neighborhood and loves to say hello.
Peaches has two doggy siblings, named Moxie and Dixie, whom she is enjoying getting to know. We are very excited for her to have more confident dogs in her new home to help her build confidence. She also has a bff who lives next door, a lovely doggy named Eloise, who comes over to play with her every afternoon.
Fun fact: Her sister, Dixie, was also a Camp Cocker rescue dog (class of 2018)
