Fiona
Adopted MAY 2019!
Fiona’s Story:
Wigglebutt Fiona was part of our Freedom Flight Rescue program at about 6 months of age. She was welcomed to America in late November 2018 after she’d been saved from an overcrowded and under funded animal shelter by our South Korean rescue partners at Band For Animal. She was very sweet and loving. A little shy at first, she just needed a few good ear scratches and she’d be wagging her tail!
Her new family says that Fiona (“Nona") is doing so well! She loves cuddles and kisses and has really blossomed and built up more confidence. She’s still a little anxious and nervous sometimes, but she has come a long way. In the beginning she used to get sick during car rides, but now she’s OK as long as she gets to sit on someone’s lap. A few months after Fiona’s adoption, her family adopted another one of our rescues from South Korea, named Ivy, and they share that having the two girls together has been amazing. They are great sisters who get along really well! They have so much fun visiting the dog park, going to the beach, and love going on adventures as a family.
From Fiona’s adopters: “Thank you for bringing both of them into our lives, we just feel so lucky to have them”
