Fritz
Adopted JULY 2020!
Fritzs Story:
Fritz was rescued from the Carson Animal Shelter in April 2020, having been relinquished by his previous owner after he was hit by a car and was limping. This one-year-old darling had sustained a fractured tibia. Unfortunately, the injury was about eight weeks old by that point, so surgery was not recommended to repair it as that may only cause him further trouble. Instead, Fritz began a physical therapy regimen twice weekly, which included a variety of strengthening exercises, acupuncture, and laser therapy to help heal his leg and ensure that he could live a normal life.
Fritz is an energetic, smart little Terrier mix with the fastest tail in the west. This little ham loves to walk outside, sit in your lap, and get lots of pets. He enjoys soaking up the sunshine and loves burning off energy by chasing birds and squirrels. His new parents named him Gungi and are enjoying every moment together with their little Wookiee Jedi. They report that he has become more vocal since his adoption and is always barking in his sleep, which they both just love.
From Gungi’s’ adopters: “Where do I begin on how much he has improved our lives and, hopefully, vice versa...?”
