Gavin
Adopted MARCH 2024!
Gavin’s Story:
Gavin joined Camp Cocker Rescue in November of 2023 after he was rescued from the Incheon shelter in South Korea by Dorothy Rescue Group, friends of the Cocker Moms / Cocker Friends. This sweet boy desperately needed to be groomed, and he was neutered and treated for heartworm and cherry eye before traveling to America. Estimated to be perhaps 8 years old, this little Freedom Flyer is an energetic boy who acts much younger than he is. He loves going on walks and gets very excited to go outside! Gavin is smart and understands basic commands, he loves people and really wants to be loved.
Now known as Stitch, his lovely foster parents were moving from Los Angeles, CA back to Michigan and decided to adopt him - wonderful news for all of them! Stitch had settled right in with them and their other dog, Minnie, a sweet basset-labradors mix. The family enjoys visiting their local dog parks and dog beaches regularly. Stitch is slowly getting better with his potty training, and he and his parents are working with a professional trainer on some leash reactivity. He is curious about everything and will sniff with great interest, but is also happy to just hang out and has been trained to sit and wait at crosswalks. This funny boy likes to rigorously rub himself all over his parents and is always asking for belly rubs. We are so thrilled for him and his family.
From Stitch’s adopters: “We are so excited to have Gavin officially join our family!”
