Georgie
Adopted DECEMBER 2020!
Georgie’s Story:
Oh My Dawg! Cuteness alert! Little Georgie was 4 months old and weighed just ten pounds when he made the journey from South Korea to Los Angeles, CA. He joined Camp Cocker as part of our Freedom Flight Rescue program after he was rescued from a shelter by our rescue partners, Korean K9 Rescue. His mother, Beesun, had given birth to Georgie and his littermates inside of the shelter, and in November 2020 Camp Cocker flew them all to America to start their new lives. Beagles are often used for lab testing, and since Georgie and his siblings were purebred, we don't know if momma Beesun escaped from a lab or a breeding facility. Either way, she ended up at the shelter in bad shape, and we are so thankful for the bright future she and her babies would soon get to enjoy!
This gentle Beagle boy is definitely a puppy, silly and curious. He loves to run and play, but his parents share that Georgie is also surprisingly mellow and well-mannered. He is incredibly sweet with everyone he meets and is always eager to please. His new family includes two young boys who are having a blast getting to know their new little puppy! He also has an 8-year-old doggy sister, a fox terrier-beagle mix named Lola, who is super sweet and loves to cuddle with him. His family has so much love to give and Georgie is enjoying every minute spent with them.
From Georgie’s adopters: “WE ARE IN LOVE WITH GEORGIE!!!!!! He is truly a special pup.”
