Henry
Adopted OCTOBER 2019!
Henry’s Story:
This cutie-patootie was born in the care of Camp Cocker in May 2019 a couple of weeks after we’d rescued his pregnant mother, Sydney, from the San Bernardino Shelter. Sydney was seven weeks pregnant when we saved her and she gave birth to eight beautiful puppies just two weeks later. After getting a whole lot of love and good socialization in his foster home, sweetheart Henry was ready to find his perfect forever home!
Henry is absolutely loving life in his new home. He loves to play and is now a great little swimmer. He is full of spunk and drives his new doggy brother, Nelson, a little crazy every morning and evening. Henry will regularly paw at Nelson to get his attention when he wants to play. Their mom has noticed that they have a pattern…. they play fight after every meal and Henry is always the first to start it. Henry loves to “bully” Nelson who is so very tolerant of his annoying little brother. Nelson is a nice boy and always surrenders his toys to Henry. The two have become rather co-dependent and their parents say it’s been quite fascinating to watch them bond.
Fun fact: Henry’s brother Nelson is a Camp Cocker alumni from class of 2019!
