Jessica spent most of her life in terrible conditions in a South Korean puppy mill/dog meat trader holding facility. She was rescued by a local South Korean rescue group and was then brought to America to have a better chance of finding a forever home.

What we know about Jessica:

  • Red/Apricot Mini Poodle

  • About 10 years old

  • Very, very timid around strangers (knowing her background, it’s really not surprising)

  • Okay with being held.

  • Would prefer having another dog around to keep her comfortable and confident

  • Knows how to use wee-wee pads. Can possibly learn how to use a dog door, but it may take some time.

  • Will sometimes bark when left alone.
