Jocelyn
Adopted JANUARY 2021!
Jocelyn’s Story:
We flew this little muppet to Los Angeles, CA in January 2021 after she’d been rescued from a shelter in South Korea by our rescue partners at Korean K9 Rescue. Between 3-5 years old and weighing just 20 pounds, this sweet terrier mix loves to give kisses and is super friendly with people. She has a personality to please and is fun and playful with other dogs!
Shortly after her arrival, Jocelyn was treated for heartworm (she’d also had a heartworm treatment in South Korea, but she’d tested positive again after her arrival to America). We were thrilled when she finally tested negative for heartworm and is otherwise perfectly healthy! She’s a very nice girl.
Now named Gingee, she is doing well with her new family here in California. She was a little shy and unsure the first few days, as could be expected, but then she really began to come out of her shell. She's playful, loves to snuggle, and is fully potty trained! She and her new doggy brother, Dante, are slowly figuring each other out. Dante, who is a 9-year-old maltipoo, nose-bumps Gingee’s side to try to get her to play with him. Good girl Gingee has become her own lady since the shy, scared little girl her family initially adopted.
