Jonah
Adopted JANUARY 2021!
Jonah’s Story:
This cutie joined Camp Cocker as one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea in January 2021 after he’d been rescued from an animal shelter there. At about five years of age, he is a healthy Terrier mix with a very nice personality. Jonah was a little bit shy at first but got along well with everyone he met. We love his freckly nose!
Now named Angel, he has settled into his new life nicely. His adopter reports that he is a little nervous on walks when there are loud noises, but she’s sure that he will become more comfortable once he gets familiar with the area. He is very mellow and LOVES to cuddle! He would let you give him belly rubs all day if you wanted to. Angel has full run of the house and uses all of his dog beds in every room, but at night he is right up on mom’s bed for a good night's sleep.
Angel’s new mom is really enjoying bonding with him. The two began taking training classes on Valentine's day and Angel is learning quickly! Training classes are a great tool to encourage bonding between dogs and their humans, and we highly recommend it to everyone who adopts. Angel gets home cooked meals and his adopter is working to help him shed a couple of pounds so that he can enjoy a nice, long, healthy life with her.
From Angel’s adopter: “He is such a sweetheart and I am so happy he is with me. I just love everything about him!”
