Adopted JULY 2020!

Kei’s Story:

Kei was one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea in July 2020. At just one year of age, he already had some major dental issues. Kei had no enamel on his teeth and they were starting to crumble and fracture. Since he’d been rescued from a shelter in South Korea when he was only two months of age, the lack of enamel could have been the result of lack of a good immune system if his mommy dog was not healthy.

The only two options for Kei were to extract the teeth as they fracture more or to go to a board certified veterinary dentist for bonding of the teeth. Although it was very expensive, Kei’s new mom decided that she wanted to explore the dentist route to save at least some of his teeth since he is so young. It's rare to find adopters that are so committed to their new dogs that they will go "all in" for whatever that dog needs. This procedure could cost up to ten thousand dollars.

Kei is a sweet, happy-go-lucky guy and we are so grateful that he has found his fresh start. He now spends his days playing with his little doggy brother, another Camp Cocker Rescue dog named Scout! It must be so fun to visit their house!
