Leo
Adopted SEPTEMBER 2021!
Leo’s Story:
Sweet-faced Leo was picked up as a stray in August 2021. When no one stepped forward to claim him from the shelter, Camp Cocker was ready to help him find an awesome home. From what we can gather, Leo may have been the “buddy” of an old man and was let go by the family after his owner’s passing. Poor Leo was lost, scared, and was infested with fleas. He was in need of a dental, and our cardiology diagnosed him with a grade 3 to 4 heart murmur. Despite his ordeal, this sweet 6-year-old cocker boy has a lovely personality, is energetic and really likes getting attention.
Leo’s adopters have so much love to give him. He and his new cocker brother, Barkley, have really bonded and have such fun together! The two enjoy taking long walks with their parents, charming all of the neighbors who meet them, playing with their toys and running together in the backyard. They also love napping together and are constantly snuggling up to one another. Their dad says that Barkley gives his newly adopted brother an enthusiastic two paws up! We are so thrilled that Leo is now in the wonderful, loving home he deserves.
Fun fact: Barkley had also been adopted from Camp Cocker Rescue back in 2018!
