Levi
Adopted DECEMBER 2019!
Levi’s Story:
Rescued from the Riverside Animal Shelter in October 2019, Levi had really bad ears and desperately needed our help. At about 8 years old, he had suffered with painful ear infections and bad skin his entire life. Levi was missing a lot of fur and his ears smelled really terrible, poor guy. His ears hurt so much that he would cry out when you touched them. We took Levi directly to our vet to get started on his medical rehab, and also took him to consult with a board certified surgeon regarding his heavily stenotic ear canals. Levi ended up having ear ablation surgery in his right ear and a dental with lots of extractions. This poor fella is the nicest guy ever. It’s hard to understand how he had suffered for so many years at the hands of human neglect and he still trusts people.
Levi’s new family says he is such a good boy and has so much personality. He’s very active and energetic and he loves all the people and other dogs he meets at the park on his daily walks! He gets groomed twice a month at his family’s longtime vet who takes wonderful care of him. This darling boy may be completely deaf now, but he hears with his heart! He is super sweet and loves to give kisses.
From Levi’s adopters: “We are so grateful to Camp Cocker for Levi and all the dogs you help. Levi is the joy of our lives.“
