WELCOME TO CAMP COCKER RESCUE LINUS!

LINUS was rescued from the Riverside County Animal Shelter, malnourished and covered in fleas. He’s made a great recovery and is currently at about 21 lbs. He is estimated to be 3-5 years old, but very much still a puppy - a young and active dog who will need plenty of walks and exercise.

He is currently in a foster home, and this is what his foster parents have to say about him:

  • Linus is extremely loving, his tail constantly wags, and he’s always eager to please. He gets excited to go on walks and play fetch.

  • Many things are still new to him but he is so brave as he overcomes those fears very easily and welcomes new experiences.

  • Linus is always happy to meet other dogs and is ecstatic to meet people whether they visit the house or out on walks too. He wants everyone to be his best friend and will wiggle his entire body hoping to sniff another dog or get some petting.

  • He gets along great with other dogs but will probably be okay as a single dog as well.

  • Linus is a bit mouthy like a puppy and needs patience to learn what not to put his mouth on. Course correcting with a toy helps. He does listen but it's probably best to be in a household where children won't get scared if he puts their hands in his mouth.

  • He was not potty trained but is making great progress as he learns routines so the accidents inside the house become less and less.

  • If you walk out the door without him you might hear him whimper a bit but he will settle and then become content being home alone.

Linus is being fostered in the Los Angeles area.
