Loki
Adopted DECEMBER 2020!
Loki’s Story:
This adorable little Terrier mix had been abandoned with his brother, Petey, at a 76 gas station in Indio, CA. Fortunately, Loki was healthy and had not been injured, but he was extremely timid and skittish. Rescued in May 2020, this poor baby would try to hide from anyone who got close to him. Loki’s foster parents lovingly helped him to evolve into a dog who is good with people and other dogs, but he still needed an adopter who would be patient with him as he worked on building confidence. Because of this, it took months to find just the right home for this sweetheart.
Now named Lucky, this special boy loves to cuddle and play with his new family! He is eager to crawl into any available lap to snuggle, and enjoys exploring their backyard where he can feel safe and secure. He loves going hiking with his mom, playing at the beach, and is even an avid runner! Lucky is enthusiastic about playing fetch and now has a confident, energetic labrador mix brother, named Buster, whom he plays with all day long. Loki’s mom says that if he is awake, his tail is wagging! We are so excited for Lucky. He has adapted very well to his new home and his family is utterly in love with him.
From Loki’s adopters: “We are COMPLETELY in love with Lucky and think that it might be the most successful dog adoption ever! We can't imagine life without him.”
