Lola
Adopted JUNE 2022!
Lola’s Story:
Lola (aka Lola the showgirl) was born in the care of Camp Cocker Rescue on March 13, 2022. Her mother, Trixie, had been rescued from the SEACCA Shelter in Downey, CA just five days before giving birth to Lola and her four siblings. Your guess is as good as ours what breed their father was, but the pups were fairly big considering Trixie was a tiny 11 pound terrier! She had a smooth delivery, though, and was a wonderful mommy to Lola, Barry, Polly, Amelia, and Hunter. Lola was definitely the sassiest pup in the bunch!
This angel face is now named Zoie Rey - Zoie, of Greek origin, means "life" and Rey is, of course, after the powerful Jedi! Zoie is doing so much better this early on than her parents could've ever imagined. Zoie quickly bonded with both of them. She cuddles, loves to play (especially fetch and tug of war) and is totally obsessed with their backyard. Crate training has gone really well and she's even getting pretty good on a leash! She loves to cuddle in the morning and play all day long. Zoie loves to watch dog shows on TV, too! People in the neighborhood are constantly asking her mom and dad if they can pet her or take her picture, so she's getting a lot of good human socialization.
From Zoie’s adopters: “We are so incredibly grateful for everyone at Camp Cocker for rescuing her mom and raising this sweet little girl! Thanks again for taking such good care of our smart, sweet, fun and crazy girl.”
