Lotto
Adopted JULY 2022!
Lotto’s Story:
Rescued in July 2022, Lotto flew to America as one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea. Estimated to be between 8-9 years old, he was such a happy dog, wiggly and friendly, who loved to talk, snuggle, and be near people. He had been treated for heartworm while in Korea and his rear right leg had some loss of muscle mass, as if he had been in a crate or cage for a long time. We don’t know his exact history, but the shelter told the rescuers in South Korea that his previous owners had split up and didn’t want him anymore. Lotto was diagnosed with hypothyroid disease and Addison’s Disease shortly after his arrival in Los Angeles, but with medical management we expect him to have a good, long life.
Now known as Geordie, his adopters are so very happy with their new family member. They say Geordie's personality is shining through; he truly is a joy and is quite funny. When they take him to daycare for a few hours, he jumps up on the bench and demands his belly rubs, then he can't wait to get into the back area like "Bye mom, see ya later!" At home, Geordie is such a lovebug and a total lap dog. He’s very sweet and is a wonderful fit in their home. His doggy brother, Diego, was quickly pretty relaxed around him! Geordie still likes to talk a lot, and his mom says he sounds a bit like a donkey/beagle.
