May

Adopted august 2020!

May’s Story:

This fluffy lady was one of our Freedom Flyers in August 2020. At 6 years of age, she flew to Los Angeles, CA from South Korea with another one of our rescued dogs, named Hana. Though a little shy, May is very sweet and warms up to new people once she becomes comfortable. Similarly, she usually preferred to observe other dogs rather than play with them. Although healthy, this lovely Maltese-Poodle mix did need to lose a couple of pounds. She loves treats, but doesn’t like to eat in front of people.

Fortunately, May has been settling into her new home quite well and her adopters have seen so much improvement in her. They report that her overall temperament is much more calm and less nervous and shy. She has gained more confidence on her walks, is curious, and she absolutely loves going to the park! She has also come to love the dog park, and even visited the dog beach, where she was much more interested in climbing on sand piles than going near the water. She does great on road trips and enjoys hanging out with her loving adopters.

Though May is still generally very quiet, her parents are confident that with continued patience and love, she will continue to blossom. We have faith in you, May!
