Mimi
Adopted SEPTEMBER 2020!
Mimi’s Story:
This little lady was one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea in September 2020. Very nervous and shy, Mimi made the trip with another one of our rescue dogs, named Jojo. Mimi was clearly a nice doggy who just needed someone to make her feel safe and comfortable. She was estimated to be between 6-8 years old.
Mimi now lives with patient adopters who allowed her all the time she needed to come out of her shell. She has an awesome Cocker Spaniel brother, named Shadow, who has been happy to make her feel right at home. Mimi’s parents also adopted a partially blind 3-legged Toy Poodle sister for her to hang out with, and the three dogs have become close and love to cuddle and nap together. Mimi settled in nicely to her new home and is no longer standoffish. She loves getting scratchies under her chin and even gives her parents kisses… lots of ‘em! This special girl likes to cuddle up with her mom at night and enjoys spending her days lounging on the couch or curled up under her dad’s work desk.
Mimi is still afraid of loud noises and comes running when the trash truck is in the alley behind their home, but she heads straight to the front door when she hears the doorbell. She is as sweet as she can be and her family enjoys her company so much.
