Nathan
Adopted NOVEMBER 2020!
Nathan’s Story:
This handsome Jindo was one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea in July of 2020. Nathan is one of the rare dogs that we’ve taken in who’d been saved from a dog meat farm. Our rescue partners at Korean K9 Rescue helped to absorb several dogs when a dog meat farm was shut down there, and we are so grateful to them for doing the emotionally difficult work of saving dogs like Nathan.
This sweetheart is a happy, goofy youngster, between 2-3 years old, with lots of fun energy. He absolutely loves to run and play with other dogs but is also super cuddly with people. Nathan is extremely human-oriented and craves lots of affection. He likes to nuzzle and burrow his head into your arms and, despite weighing about 50 pounds, he is under the impression that he’s a lap dog. It’s very funny when he tries to sit on your lap!
Nathan enjoys taking long walks with his new family, playing ball with his human sister and brother, and having play dates with the doggy who used to be his foster brother! He is very good at modulating his play style based on who he is playing with. This silly boy also likes to pick things up with his mouth and run around the house with them. His adopters are committed to making sure Nathan has “a happy and non-stressful life, because it's already been hard enough!”
