Niel
Adopted JUNE 2021!
Niel’s Story:
This adorable 9-month-old Cocker Spaniel was rescued in South Korea and joined Camp Cocker as one of our Freedom Flyers in June 2021. Sweet and playful, he’s a silly puppy with a mouthy play style and lots of fun puppy energy.
Now named Kai, he's doing great with his new family! The little guy had been through quite a bit, so his adopter hired a positive reinforcement trainer to help her work with Kai on some fear-based aggression, marking, and play biting. He improved very quickly! Sometimes these babies just need a little extra love, patience, and proper training and they'll do great! We are so appreciative of committed adopters who are willing to put in the effort to help their furry family member succeed in their new home. Kai has already learned to sit for treats and is such a good boy. He loves to snuggle and is super affectionate. It’s no surprise that everyone who meets Kai quickly falls in love with him!
Kai now has a beautiful doggy sister, named Molly, and the two like to sandwich their mom in at night snuggled up on each side of her. Apparently, Kai is quite a snorer, too! Their mom shares that Molly has been more eager to eat and go on walks again since Kai’s arrival, so she can tell that they both enjoy having each other around.
From Kai’s adopter: “Thank you all so much for choosing me to be his (human) dog mama.”
