Noodles

Adopted JULY 2023!

Noodles’s Story:

Rescued at 8-10 years of age, Noodles is a very affectionate cocker mix. He joined Camp Cocker via our Freedom Flight program in June 2023 after a long plane ride from Mongolia. He had some trust issue with strangers, especially fast moving strangers who don't give him a moment to sniff and give consent before touching him, but he loves meeting other dogs and doesn't even react when they bark at him. He’s a pretty easygoing dude! Noodles does have some hearing loss but he can hear loud noises, like whistles and squeaky toys. His favorite toy is his lamb who traveled with him from Mongolia. Noodles had to have one of his eyes removed due to glaucoma, but a veterinary ophthalmologist examined him and said his remaining eye is healthy with good vision. He’ll just need to keep getting eye drops to keep that eye healthy.

His new parents are thrilled with Noodles and tell us that every day there is greater joy with him and their other dogs. He and his brother, Alex, enjoy playing fetch but Noodles likes to hoard the balls and take them back to "his chair". Their mom says it's really cute to watch. Noodles does share toys with Alex and Ava, though, and he’s learning to play with other dogs instead of just surviving. She thinks that he is really enjoying having siblings. Noodles is a fun, affectionate, easygoing companion and his favorite thing is snuggling with his people on the couch. He is also completely housetrained and walks very well with the other dogs! What a gem.
