Oakley
Adopted SEPTEMBER 2020!
Oakley’s Story:
The adorable freckle-faced Oakley was rescued with his littermate (whom we named Abe) after a good samaritan found the two running loose in the city of Highland, CA. Oakley and Abe were both found in need of cherry eye surgery, which is necessary to protect their eye health and future vision. After weeks of no one claiming these cuties from the Devore Animal Shelter, Camp Cocker went to work to find them the best homes possible.
At approximately 2-3 years old, Oakley is super sweet and friendly. His new parents report that everyone who meets him is amazed by how calm and gentle he is. His favorite activity is chasing a ball around their backyard, closely followed by cuddling up next to them on the couch. He has quickly become their little shadow, following them around the house wherever they go. He sleeps through the night perfectly and gets along very well with his two cat siblings. His parents tell us he’s the most perfect dog they could’ve ever imagined for their family! That makes us so happy.
Though they are both very nice dogs, Oakley and Abe had to be adopted out separately due to their severe littermate syndrome (also knows as Sibling Aggression).
