Pepe

Adopted JULY 2022!

Pepe’s Story:

At just 2-4 years of age, this young sweetheart flew to Los Angeles, CA in June 2022 as one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea after he had been found abandoned at a campground there. Pepe was very friendly and pretty mellow. Although he has a happy, waggly tail, he has a calm energy and easily goes with the flow. He likes everyone he meets, including people, other dogs, and even cats! Pepe had tested positive for Anaplasma while in South Korea (Anaplasmosis is a tick-borne disease that’s treated with a simple course of antibiotics) but was otherwise a healthy young man.

Now known as Pepper, his parents tell us he's the absolute sweetest. They are just giving him time to decompress at his own pace and say he already likes to lay in a cat bed on his mom’s desk while she works. What a love bug! Pepper is now living in Washington with his two doggy siblings, Oliver and Maple, and two kitty sisters, Alesia and Pickle. Oliver, aka Ollie, is especially excited to have another cocker spaniel in the family to play with! He and Pepper are bonding and LOVE to play together; it's the cutest thing in the world. The family enjoys taking walks together, in addition to the occasional hike. Pepper enjoys exploring his new backyard and has revealed himself to be a SUPER CHEWER! He freed 6 squeakers in one morning. Needless to say, they’ll be keeping some great chew toys on hand for him. Pepper’s mom and dad had seen him online and knew they had to add him to their pack.
