Adopted MARCH 2020!

Reese’s Story:

Rescued in February 2020, Reese came to us from the Inland Valley Humane Society in Pomona after he’d been diagnosed with a severe heart issue. Our own cardiologist determined that this darling 8 year old Spaniel mix with a significantly enlarged heart and severe mitral valve disease. This news was so heartbreaking to us because Reese is one of the nicest little dogs ever. He is happy-go-lucky and wags his tail at everyone he meets. He's just a lovely little dog.

His adopter calls him Mayor Reese, and this sweet boy is getting so much love from her! She adores her amazing little guy, no matter his heart condition or lifespan. We are so grateful because adopters like this are truly rare. Mayor is now living his best life ever and will spend his third act being spoiled and cherished, like every dog deserves to be.

Mayor’s adopter had a DNA test done on him, the results of which show that he is a fun mix of Cocker Spaniel, Poodle, Pomeranian, Boxer, Chow Chow, Lhasa Apso, Pekingese, and a hilarious 12.8% Supermutt!
