Robbie
Adopted JULY 2022!
Robbie’s Story:
Robbie is a lovely Cavalier King Charles who joined Camp Cocker as one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea in May 2022. Approximately 5-6 years old, he was very friendly with people and other dogs. Sadly, Robbie had been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, luxating patella on both sides, and also some back pain. He would need surgery on both knees and possibly on his hip, as well as physical therapy and pain management. Robbie also needed to lose a little bit more weight to help set him up for success for his surgeries.
Robbie is doing an excellent job of settling into his new environment! He has been eating well (he is on a healthy diet to help him lose a couple of pounds) and caught on to walking on a leash very quickly with the help of his new little brother, Oscar. Robbie and Oscar are getting along very well and already play together. Both cavaliers, the two dogs are a perfectly matched set! Robbie’s mom shares that potty training is still a work in progress, but Robbie’s accidents inside have quickly decreased. He is still settling in and learning his new routine. We are so glad to see Robbie enjoying his new life in LA!
From Robbie’s adopter: “It’s such a joy having him.”
