Shane
Adopted FEBRUARY 2021!
Shane’s Story:
Sweet Shane joined Camp Cocker as one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea in January 2021. He is the cutest multicolored Shih Tsu mix with an energetic and curious personality! Between seven to nine years of age, he weighs only sixteen pounds and arrived in Los Angeles, CA eager to make friends. We’d had him checked out by a cardiologist because of a mild heart murmur (grade two out of six) and were glad to learn that he does not need cardiac medications at this time. He is an incredibly nice dog.
Now named Andy, he is enjoying being in his new home. His adopter reports that he is doing great and has settled in very well. He is obsessed with squirrels and loves looking out the window hoping to get sight of one. Everybody she runs into comments on how adorable he is! Andy is so sweet and friendly and he loves snuggling with his new mama. He also loves his squeaky toys, walking to the park, and has the happiest, wiggy-waggy tail!
Andy’s adopter had a DNA test done on him and discovered that he is 66.1% Shih Tzu, 15.1% Cairn Terrier, and 18.8% Supermutt!
