Sooni’s Story:

Sweet Sooni joined Camp Cocker as part of our Freedom Flight program in December 2020. At about 5 months of age, she and five other beagles traveled to Los Angeles, CA after they had been rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea. Thanks to our rescue partners at Korean K9 Rescue, Sooni, Gold, Silver, Davey and Gabby are now enjoying their lives here in America! These pups are extremely sweet, lovely little dogs who get along well with everyone they meet.

Sooni opened up to her adoring new family the minute they took her home. She loves snuggling and being pet by all of them, and she especially loves her human sisters, ages 7 and 4. She seems incredibly happy and they’re having so much fun watching her open up and show her puppy characteristics. Sooni loves chasing balls and has so much fun playing fetch in the backyard. She is very curious but is great at dropping what she shouldn't have in her mouth and being rewarded with a treat. What a good girl! Her family discovered that she loves the beach, especially chasing waves, lying in the cool wet sand, and most of all... digging deep holes that she can then get cozy in for a nice nap.
