Hi, I’m Summer!
I’m a young female beagle, born in June, 2021, at a place called Envigo in Virginia! That makes me a survivor at just over 1 year old!
After a long journey in airplanes, vans, and SUVs, I’ve finally arrived at Camp Cocker Rescue, and I have a new name AND I’m pending adoption with my very own furever family! My new family includes a beagle brother (not from Envigo), a beagle foster-sister (from Envigo), and another young dog like me! I’m so glad to have dog-siblings to help me adjust to my brand new life!
I’ve never lived in a home before - or been outside, or been on a walk, snuggled with a person, or so many other things. But now that I’m starting to experience some of these new things, I’m a pretty happy beagle!
*** SUMMER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! ***
IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTION, WE ASK THAT YOU START BY TAKING A FEW MINUTES TO READ THE CARE GUIDE FOR ENVIGO BEAGLES. YOU’LL GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE HOW & WHY OF OUR PROCESS FOR GETTING THESE special DOGS INTO THEIR FIRST FUREVER HOMES!
** 8/31 PM UPDATE: We were able to take in four young female beagles from the San Diego Humane Society today. One of them is pending adoption, and the other three are in foster homes! We’ll have more information and photos tomorrow (9/1) and hope to soon find out more about their needs & personalities from their new foster families!
