WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT TRIXIE:
Trixie is a super-cute and oh-so-sweet female Terrier Mix who was surrendered to the SEAACA Shelter in Downey, CA, by someone who found her. She was presumed to be pregnant, and fairly far along!
On March 8, Camp Cocker was able to come to the rescue to provide Trixie with medical care and a safe & secure home as she prepared to give birth to her new puppies.
Trixie was taken immediately from the shelter to our veterinarian, who thoroughly examined her. She was estimated to be 4-6 years old and weighed 14 pounds - though much of that was puppy! She’s now about 11 pounds.
Trixie gave birth to five puppies on March 13 - two boys & three girls!
Trixie’s puppies are now weaned, and Trixie is being fostered, for some well-earned rest, in the Los Angeles area. Trixie has now been spayed, and is looking forward to finding her new furever home.
