WOOGIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!

• Woogie is a Freedom Flyer from South Korea.

• Woogie arrived at LAX from South Korea, in July, 2021.

• Woogie is a male Cocker Spaniel, estimated to be 10-12 years old, and weighing 20 pounds.

• Woogie’s foster family has some very special things to say about him:

  Hidden gem alert!! New boy Woogie is proving to be just a total delight! He is one of these dogs that is the total package! When people say they want an "easy" or "well adjusted" dog, they are usually describing a dog just like Woogie!

  Woogie would make a wonderful pet, for almost anyone. He would be great for a first time dog owner since he requires so little training (unlike puppies). He is also a quiet pup (so far) as we haven't heard him bark once.

  So what exactly makes us say Woogie is an "easy" dog? Well let's look at his traits!Woogie is in the Los Angeles area.*Woogie gets along great with dogs, but doesn't seem to need them around either. He can be an only dog, or an addition to a family

  *He seems well adjusted. No issues with strangers or timidness

  *He is house trained

  *He loves to play, but isn't high strung

  *He loves to cuddle, but isn't needy

  *He is equally happy to be independent as he is to be by your side

  *We see no evidence of separation anxiety

  *No resource guarding issues with food, people, or toys.

  *He lays patiently through car rides

  *He walks well on leash

  *He is well adjusted with both men and women and bonds to both/either

  *He is food motivated, but not "bossy" around food

  The list goes on and on! No dog is perfect, but we think this laid back dude comes pretty darn close! Most dogs have some form of vice that requires a little extra attention or training. So far, we can't find one for Woogie. Hooray! 🎉

  Woogie is not a puppy, and that will probably be the biggest hurdle to his adoption. We'll never really know his age, but the guess is maybe 8 to 10? He isn't a puppy and doesn't seem like a senior either. But it is this sweet spot that makes him such a dream dog!

  Here's hoping people realize that age is just a number, and that all dogs deserve a forever home. He will make his future family feel sooooo lucky that their found him! ♥️
