WELCOME TO CAMP COCKER RESCUE KODA!

Meet FREEDOM FLYER KODA - one of the eleven Cocker Spaniels who were rescued from a puppy mill.

Camp Cocker Rescue was contacted by KDS, a rescue organization in South Korea, asking us if we might be able to take eleven cocker spaniels that they rescued from a puppy mill closure. There were twenty seven dogs in total, and we of course said YES!

These dogs were living in cruel conditions and sadly, the breeder had debarked them all. 💔💔💔

The eleven dogs that Camp Cocker is taking in have booked their flights and are arriving here in Los Angeles in small groups - beginning the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Koda arrived in Los Angeles on 11/30 with his tail wagging non-stop! He is estimated to be about 5-6 years old, is neutered, vaccinated, and weighs 25 pounds.

His rescuers describe him as sweet & loving, and very friendly with people & other dogs.

Koda’s caregiver has this to say about him:

• Likes - Koda loves going on walks, He likes squeaky toys. He likes being scratched on his back by his tail. He’s very food motivated. He likes his kibble.

• Dislikes - So far I haven’t noticed that he dislikes anything. He’s extremely friendly. He does well around kids, cats, etc.
  

• Potty training - He’s not potty trained yet. When he arrived with me he was urinating inside the house or on concrete, he didnt seem familiar with grass but since being with me I take them out to potty on the grass regularly and lately he’s been going only on the grass and hasn’t had an accidents inside the house anymore.

• Leash - He does very well when he goes on walks. He never bites his leash. He’s very curious and likes exploring when he’s out for a walk. He’s not reactive to the leash. So far he’s done very well.

• Food or toy guarding - No food or toy guarding at all.
